Chris Craney is a singer/songwriter born in Hancock County, Indiana. From a young age he would take an interest in piano and later picking up the six-string. Chris took an ear to artists like Johnny Cash, Steve Earle, & Chris Knight that inspired him to write as a hobby, but it wasn’t till after graduating high school and joining the workforce that he found an even deeper love for songwriting while living in a fishing shack. Blending the styles of outlaw country, blues, and folk, Chris has been hitting the grindstone playing shows all around the Midwest gaining much support as well as opening for Jamey Johnson this past summer with just his songs, a harmonica, and guitar.
